This is on behalf of The Jolly Boys - a group of golfers who miss John terribly. Whenever we were in Spain he would join us. He was funny and great company. Always a gentleman with a wicked sense of humour and a fabulous ability to tell jokes!

John, JB, you were such a great friend. A kindred spirit if ever there was one. We shared so many good times together, and so many laughs. It was impossible to have a conversation with you without bursting into laughter at some stage. I will cherish this forever. We will miss you dearly. Farewell, old bean.
